Mid-week Advent celebrations will begin on Wednesday, December 4.  Dinner will be served each week at First English beginning at 5:30 p.m. with Evening Prayer to follow at 6:30 p.m.  Donations will be accepted to help with the cost of food; the money raised outside of costs will go to World Hunger.  Please sign up on the sheets in the narthex if you are planning to attend.       

• December 4 – “Hasten Our Salvation” (Psalm 124; Isaiah 54:1-10; Matthew 24:23-35) Dinner for the evening will be various soups, bread and desserts.  (If you are a member of MZ, a sign-up sheet will be available in the narthex to bring the items needed for the dinner.)    
• December 11 – “Open Our Hearts to Your Word” (Psalm 21; Genesis 15:1-8; Matthew 12:33-37) Dinner for the evening will be International Hot Dogs, chips, and dessert.
• December 18 – “The Deep Need for Wholeness” (Psalm 42; Zechariah 8:1-17; Matthew 8:14-17, 28-34) Dinner for the evening will be pizza, salad, and dessert.
