The annual Ascension
liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Mount Zion. This
liturgy is the celebration of Jesus’ ascension into heaven where he sits at the
right hand of the Father. Ascension reminds us that, although Jesus has returned
to the heavens, his presence is with us eternally through the Spirit and he
promises return. While we wait for the promised return, we are called to open
our hears to the Spirit, who enlivens our faith and invigorates us for mission. |
