On Sunday, April 14, 2013 the Voices of Joy Gospel Choir
will perform at First English as part of the church's yearly concert series.
The group is comprised of students from the Punxsutawney Campus of Indiana
University of Pennsylvania. The hour-long concert begins at 3:30 PM in the
nave; a reception coordinated by Chef Martha Jo Rupert follows the concert in
the church's social hall. The concert is free to all—come enjoy a great
afternoon of music! On Sunday, May 19th the
choirs of First English will present a concert in celebration of the Festival
of Pentecost. The Gallery Choir, The First English Ringers, and Flauto Dolce
will all be featured. Music for brass quintet and organ will round out the
program, along with some congregational singing. Mark your calendars now!
