Holy Week

Holy Week begins on Sunday, March 29.  There will be many opportunities to worship and pray during that week.

Sunday, March 29 – The traditional Palm Sunday Liturgy with the procession of palms and the reading of the Passion According to St. Mark.  Palm BranchLiturgies will be held at 9:00 a.m. at MZ and 11:00 a.m. at FE.  Please gather in the basement at MZ and in the social hall of FE that day.




Stations of the Cross
Tuesday, March 31 – The building will be open at FE for a Stations of the Cross Prayer Walk from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  The Prayer Walk will take us through the 14 stations of Jesus suffering and passion.  Booklets will be available to guide you through your time of prayer.







Wednesday, April 1 – Come join us at MZ for a Liturgy of Holy Communion at 6:30 p.m.


Communion Chalice
Thursday, April 2 – The traditional Maundy Thursday liturgy with the laying on of hands for absolution, footwashing, and Holy Communion will be held at FE beginning at 7:00 p.m.






Crucifix
Friday, April 3 – There will be two opportunities to worship that day.  The first will be a community Good Friday liturgy at Woodland Avenue United Methodist Church.  The second will be a liturgy at FE at 7:00 p.m.







Easter Vigil
Saturday, April 4 – An Easter Vigil will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Indiana.  If you are interested in attending, please meet in the parking lot of FE between 6:30-6:45 p.m. that day.
