Resurrection of our Lord, Easter Sunday

Easter Day is Sunday, April 5.  The resurrection celebration proclaims God’s triumph over sin and death through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ!  We celebrate the tremendous love and grace God poured into this world that day.  The Church sings with joy as she celebrates the arrival of the new creation through the waters of baptism and the feast of victory.  Filled with hope, we go forth to share the news that “Alleluia!  Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!”   7 a.m. – Sunrise Service at Mount Zion.  We will gather outside (weather permitting) to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.  There will be an Easter breakfast to follow.  Please bring a dish to share! 9 a.m. – Traditional Liturgy with Holy Communion at Mount Zion 11 a.m. – Traditional Liturgy with Holy Communion at First English.
